“stealth action retro-cyberpunk immersive sim with survival horror and RPG elements.”

In Tokyo Walled City, players take on the role of Reiko Kimura, a mercenary stranded in a fortified, high-density district of Japan's capital. The setting draws clear inspiration from the historic Kowloon Walled City, while the visual aesthetic leans heavily into the iconic imagery of Blade Runner, evidenced by trailer shots mirroring the film's famous cityscapes.

The gameplay loop features staples of the immersive sim genre, including:

  • Stealth mechanics like disabling security cameras and shooting out lights.
  • Exploration and environmental interaction, such as vent crawling and computer hacking.
  • Dynamic movement, which feels more akin to Dishonored than traditional shooters, allowing for rooftop navigation and vertical combat.
