Samsung may have just one-upped Google's Pixel Screenshots with a new feature on the Galaxy S26 series. The company introduced a Screenshot Analyzer that automatically sorts your screenshots into categories like boarding passes, chats, web pages, QR codes, and social media posts.
The feature works directly inside the Gallery app, not as a separate app, making it more convenient than Google's solution. Additionally, Screenshot Analyzer allows you to tap 'Go to source' to return to the original source of a screenshot, such as an email or chat message.
Samsung is branding the Galaxy S26 as an 'Agentic AI' phone, with deep integration of Gemini and the new Bixby. The Screenshot Analyzer is part of a broader set of AI upgrades in One UI 8.5.
While we haven't tested the feature hands-on yet, early impressions suggest it could be a game-changer for managing the thousands of screenshots users accumulate. The ability to jump back to the exact source sets it apart from competitors like Pixel Screenshots.
