Samsung has reportedly begun distributing the One UI 8.5 Beta 6 update to Galaxy S25 users in India, with other regions to follow. This new beta patch addresses several lingering issues from the previous version.
Key fixes include resolving a Bixby wake-up phrase problem in Labs, correcting display issues with Now Bar and Now Brief cards, and eliminating a duplicate button glitch in the Gallery's sketch conversion tool. The update also tackles a force close error in camera settings and improves notification card animations.
The release comes shortly after the launch of the Galaxy S26 series, which debuted with One UI 8.5 and features like the Ultra's Privacy Display. This has increased anticipation for the stable release of One UI 8.5 for the older S25 models.
