All three Generation 10 Starter Pokemon for the upcoming games Pokemon Winds and Waves have been officially revealed. The new starters are Browt, a Grass-type Bean Chick; Pombon, a Fire-type puppy; and Gecqua, a Water-type gecko.
Browt is described as a lively but clumsy Pokemon with fluffy yellow feathers and leaves growing from its beak. Pombon appears to be based on a Pomeranian, characterized as guileless and friendly. Gecqua is an intelligent Water Gecko Pokemon.
Initial impressions favor Pombon for its strong visual appeal and cute, fluffy design, followed closely by the endearing, goofy appearance of Browt. All three starters feature adorable designs, with their evolved forms highly anticipated.
Pokemon Winds and Waves is scheduled for a global simultaneous release in 2027, though a specific date has not yet been announced.
