During the opening keynote at Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff hosted a high-profile discussion with two of the most influential figures in artificial intelligence: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. Anthropic’s Perspective: Safety and Market Maturity

Dario Amodei, whose company Anthropic has deepened its integration with Salesforce through the Claudeforce initiative, compared the current state of the AI sector to the evolution of the automotive industry. Looking ahead, he emphasized that we have only scratched the surface. Amodei noted that even if the development of new AI models were to cease today, society would only be tapping into roughly 5-10% of the technology's total potential value.

Jensen Huang presented a more bullish outlook, characterizing the current era as the dawn of a new industrial revolution. During a walkabout on the keynote stage, Huang underscored the urgency for companies to embrace these tools.

Addressing the common tension between the speed of deployment and the necessity for caution, Huang challenged the notion that they are competing interests:

  • Strategic Implementation: «If you feel the product is not going to be safe, take a pause and make sure you get it right,» he advised.

As the discussion concluded, Huang set a bold vision for the coming years, expressing a desire to help every company leverage AI through platforms like Agentforce. He urged organizations not to be discouraged by early obstacles, stressing the critical importance of keeping pace with this technological shift.

«You don’t want to be left behind; this is too important a revolution,» Huang concluded. «The sky is the limit for us.»
