Not much has changed in Japan's best-selling camera charts from Yodobashi for the first half of February – but what changed is extraordinary. The Sony A7 V is still No.1 for the third time.

Right behind it, the Hasselblad X2D II 100C, a $7,000+ medium-format powerhouse, has moved up to second place. The Sony A7C II Zoom Lens Kit holds third, followed by Fujifilm X-T30 III and Sony A7C II body.

The Sony A7 V debuted at No.1 in December, briefly vanished due to stock shortages, then returned to win two consecutive charts and now celebrates its third chart-topping finish. The Hasselblad X2D II 100C, known as "the finest stills camera ever made," defies expectations with its 100MP sensor.

While the A7V represents full-frame performance and mainstream appeal, the X2D II 100C is a 100MP medium-format camera with end-to-end HDR color, built-in 1TB SSD, and 10-stop IBIS. Its second-place standing in Japan's competitive market is extraordinary.

The broader top 10 remains almost identical to January. Sony holds four positions in the top 10, Canon and Fujifilm each have two, and Nikon and Hasselblad secure one each. Sales data collected from Yodobashi stores between February 1-15, 2026.
