Kinetic Games has been working hard to bring Phasmophobia up to the high standard of quality they envision. Now they've taken another big step by updating the very first map they created for the game.

Announced today, fan-favorite 6 Tanglewood Drive will receive a massive overhaul, similar to the Grafton and Bleasdale farmhouses. The updated map will be available on March 3, 2026, aiming to increase the quality, interactivity, and replayability of this beloved location. It will feature brand-new ghost interactions and a surprise in the basement.

Kinetic Games plans to preserve the original structure and feel. "The last thing we want is to remove the magic players already experience. Tanglewood is a fan favorite," said Art Director Corey Dixon. He added, "The goal is to raise this map to the level of newer locations and make Phasmophobia the game we've always wanted."

Tanglewood, often considered a beginner's map, is a single-floor house with two bedrooms, a hobby room, two toilets, a garage, a basement, and common areas. Following the 2026 roadmap, the next map planned for a revamp is 13 Willow Street.

This free update will be available on all platforms. Phasmophobia is in Early Access on PC via Steam, PS5, PS VR2, and Xbox Series X|S, coming soon to Nintendo Switch 2.
