The Light Meter Watch, developed by Increment Labs, is claimed to be the world's first timepiece with an integrated light meter. The project is the brainchild of founder Rich Soler, who conceived the idea while struggling with manual photography. He partnered with Eddie Wells to establish Increment Labs.

After 18 months of development and photographer interviews, the team is building prototypes. The watch will feature a light sensor, aperture/shutter priority modes, a red backlight, and a golden-hour alarm. However, specific details like the type of light measurement (incident or reflective) are still unclear.

The product is not yet available. A Kickstarter campaign is scheduled for Q2 2026. Interested buyers can join a VIP list for a 40% discount or place a small deposit to lock in a promotional price of around $150, compared to a planned retail price of $185.
