The controversial but colossal The Island game mode returns in WWE 2K26. In the latest Ringside Report, narrated by Cody Rhodes, the Island of Relevancy led by Roman Reigns is no more. Now, three Orders vie for power, and players can pledge allegiance to one: The Order of Anarchy (led by CM Punk), The Order of Shadows (led by Rhea Ripley), or The Order of Tradition (led by Cody Rhodes).

The Order of Tradition is a collection of true believers in wrestling heritage, fighting to inspire principles through dominance on The Island. The Order of Shadows finds comfort in the unexplained, becoming a refuge for the “freaks and the weirdos” to reshape The Island. The Order of Anarchy questions the concept of rules entirely, led by CM Punk’s bold mic skills.

Each Order follows the same main story path but offers different perspectives. Progression is more non-linear, with story missions available in any order. Each Order has its own hideout and a dedicated PvP arena.

Introducing The Scrapyard, a new interactive arena that serves as a central location and is playable in Exhibition matches. It features a launch pad, shopping cart, steel beam, and increased verticality for dynamic encounters. The new physics and ragdoll engine enhance gameplay.

Customization expands with MySuperstar Builder tools, including Photo Face for facial scans and World Taunts for expressive animations. A Prestige System allows players to increase OVR, unlock badges, and earn rewards. Prestige Levels range from Recruit (OVR 70-85) to Legendary (OVR 95-100).

Towers are now in The Island, offering repeatable PvE rewards. Players select small, medium, or large runs for Order reputation and seasonal Mega-Challenge Tower Events. Multiplayer additions include MyTAG co-op, Seasonal Ranked Play, and new match types like Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way. Ranks reset each season, with top 10 weekly leaderboard players earning a Championship belt.
