A Unique Crossover Event
Bluepoch is set to transport the cast of the time-travel strategy RPG Reverse: 1999 into the distinctive, alternate-history universe of Atomic Heart. On July 23, the game will launch its first-ever globally synchronized update, bringing the retro-futurist aesthetic of the first-person shooter to PC and mobile players simultaneously.
New Narrative and Characters
The collaboration introduces a fresh storyline that bridges the two worlds. Key characters from the RPG, including Vertin, X, Madam Lucy, and Mesmer Jr., will journey to the iconic Facility 3826. Along with the new story, players can expect a variety of themed cosmetics that reflect the unique artistic style of Atomic Heart.
Rather than simply reskinning existing units, the developers have created original combat abilities for the new arrivals. The featured characters include:
- The Twins: A powerful humanoid bodyguard duo that debuts as the game's first dual-Afflatus character. They offer a unique tactical advantage by allowing players to equip two different Psychubes simultaneously, providing a complex set of stats and effects.
- Nora: The antagonist repair cabinet from the shooter franchise, who will be available as a free 4-star character obtainable through in-game tasks.
Generous Rewards and Summoning Incentives
To celebrate the event, Bluepoch has prepared an extensive reward campaign. The developer highlights the following perks for the community:
«This is one of our most significant reward initiatives to date, offering players over 110 free pulls, a complimentary monthly pass, a special Brimley outfit, and an array of anniversary-grade bonuses.»
The summon banner is designed to be player-friendly. Upon reaching 100 pulls, players can select between The Twins or a 6-star character from the Standard Pool. Additional milestones at 160, 220, and 280 pulls provide further rewards. Additionally, the development team has shared a redemption code for extra freebies: AtomicHeartCollab0723.
By combining a pioneering dual-Afflatus gameplay mechanic with a substantial volume of free content, this synchronized global update aims to attract both long-time fans and newcomers interested in diving into the Reverse: 1999 experience.
