Wescott has launched the FJ250 250Ws Touchscreen strobe, a new mid-tier lighting solution designed for both on-location and studio work. The light is remarkably lightweight at 1.9 kg (4.2 lbs) yet delivers an impressive 850 full-power flashes from a single charge, the best battery life in the FJ series.
The strobe features a full-color OLED touchscreen for control and boasts industry-leading recycle times ranging from 0.01 to 0.9 seconds. It includes high-speed sync and a Freeze Mode capable of handling bursts up to 50 fps. For creative setups, its Creative Masks function allows photographers to pre-program up to six multi-light combinations.
Compatible with all FJ series wireless triggers, the FJ250 uses a native Bowens mount for modifiers and includes a 12W bi-color modeling light. The battery pack is also compatible with the FJ400 II and FJ800 models. The strobe is available for purchase in single or two-light kits.
