A New Chapter for Jamo

After an initial announcement in April regarding the brand's return to the market, iconic speaker manufacturer Jamo has officially unveiled its latest product lines at the High End Vienna show. While many fans were expecting the debut of powered wireless speakers—which the company confirmed are currently under development—Jamo surprised attendees with a diverse array of new audio hardware.

The Standout: Concert Element 50

The highlight of the new collection is arguably the Concert Element 50, a pair of passive bookshelf speakers that demand a dedicated external amplifier. During an exclusive, private listening session at the Vienna show, the speakers showcased a unique aesthetic approach.

The most striking design element is the set of swappable, oversized circular grilles. These allow users to customize or even mix and match colors to suit their personal decor. According to the design team, this choice is functional as well as stylistic: the circular driver module extends beyond the 27cm deep cabinet, allowing the speaker to maintain a compact footprint while keeping the driver at the heart of the visual identity.

Pricing and The Concert Element Ecosystem

The Concert Element series is built to be modular, offering options for various room sizes and audio requirements. Pricing is structured as follows:

  • Concert Element 50 (Bookshelf): £999 / $1099
  • Concert Element 70 (Floorstanding): £1719 / $1899
  • Concert Element 90 (Flagship Floorstanding): £2239 / $2499
  • Concert Element SW10 (Subwoofer): £629 / $699

The 'HYG' Lifestyle Range

Moving beyond traditional high-fidelity audio, Jamo is also embracing the portable market with its new 'HYG' Bluetooth range. Inspired by the Danish concept of "hygge," which emphasizes comfort and simple daily pleasures, this line includes three distinct models:

  • HYG Reflect: A compact, alarm-clock-style speaker priced at £129 / $149.
  • Hyg Flow: A portable, briefcase-inspired design priced at £109 / $129.
  • Hyg Flex: The largest and most powerful option, priced at £239 / $279.

The entire HYG collection is scheduled for release this July, marking a comprehensive return for Jamo that spans from entry-level Bluetooth convenience to premium, high-end home audio.
