Eight Sleep has officially unveiled the Pod 6, representing the sixth iteration of its flagship smart mattress system. This latest model introduces significant hardware refinements and expanded accessibility, positioning it as the company's most sophisticated sleep solution to date.


Compact Design and Performance Upgrades

The engineering team at Eight Sleep has completely redeveloped the system’s core components. Most notably, the Hub has undergone a significant reduction in size. This redesign allows the unit to be tucked discreetly under most bed frames, eliminating the bulky aesthetic of previous models. Beyond its footprint, the hardware is more powerful: the new thermal engine features advanced thermoelectric cooling capable of adjusting temperatures 20% faster than the Pod 5, offering immediate relief from night sweats and overheating.


Enhanced Precision and AI Integration

The Pod 6 Cover is now equipped with a significantly higher density of biometric sensors—nine times more than the previous generation. These sensors meticulously monitor vital metrics, including:

  • Sleep stages and quality
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
  • Breathing and heart rate
  • Snoring patterns

This data feeds directly into the proprietary AI Autopilot, which learns the user's physiological habits to perform autonomous, real-time adjustments for optimal rest. The Pod 6 is now available in single sizes, opening the technology to a wider user base.
