At IFA Berlin 2026, CHUWI introduced the UniBox AI495 Pro, a miniature workstation designed to handle heavy AI workloads locally. The device stands out by pairing AMD's latest Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor with an impressive 192GB of unified memory, mirroring the memory ceiling found in high-end workstations from Apple.

The system features a distinctive X-Frame design, which some users may find reminiscent of the classic cylindrical Mac Pro aesthetic. Despite its high-performance internals, the unit remains remarkably compact, measuring just 209.6 × 209.6 × 67 mm and occupying a volume of roughly 2.9 liters.


Processing Power and AI Capabilities

At the heart of the machine lies the Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495, an advanced chip built on the Zen 5 architecture. It boasts 16 cores and 32 threads, capable of boost speeds up to 5.2 GHz. Graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 8065S, which features 40 cores based on RDNA 3.5 architecture, reaching frequencies of up to 3,000 MHz.

The standout feature is the memory architecture. With a 256-bit interface and 273 GB/s bandwidth, up to 160GB can be allocated exclusively to graphics processing. According to CHUWI, this configuration allows the machine to run large language models (LLMs) with up to 300 billion parameters using 4-bit quantization. The platform delivers a total of 131 TOPS (trillions of operations per second), with the XDNA 2 neural processor accounting for 55 TOPS.


Connectivity and Storage Specifications

Despite its small size, the UniBox AI495 Pro offers extensive expansion and connectivity options:

  • Networking: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual 10Gbps Ethernet ports.
