WiZmans World Re;Try is an HD remaster of the 2009 Nintendo DS RPG from Jaleco, which was previously only available in Japan. Developed by City Connection and published in the West by Clear River Games and Gravity, this version launches on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC on February 19, 2026. It features enhanced 2D pixel art and updated audio.

The story is set in the isolated city of Wizarest, where residents have lost their memories. Players control a young wizard exploring dangerous dungeons, with a narrative that changes based on conversational and exploration choices, leading to different outcomes.

The remaster preserves the original 2D sprite-based presentation but upgrades it for HD displays, with a rearranged soundtrack. It aims to sharpen the classic handheld RPG experience rather than fully modernize it into 3D.

A key feature is the homunculus system. The wizard is accompanied by three fairy-like homunculi that can absorb monster souls via "Anima Fusion," allowing deep customization of their stats, skills, and appearance.

Combat is turn-based with a visible timeline showing turn order. It utilizes an elemental affinity system (water > fire > wind > earth > water) that rewards strategic planning. The developers describe it as deep yet approachable.

With English support and a multi-platform release, Re;Try gives this cult RPG a second chance for a global audience, serving as both a preservation effort and a fresh release.
