Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, the device aims to bridge the gap between compact form factors and the massive memory requirements typically associated with local AI model execution.

At the heart of the M7000 is the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which boasts 16 cores and 32 threads, reaching boost frequencies of 5.1GHz. The system integrates the XDNA 2 neural processor, rated at 50 TOPS, alongside Radeon 8060S graphics that provide up to 40 compute units for accelerated workloads. To maintain sustained performance, the laptop features a 160W operating profile, managed by a robust cooling system comprising two fans and three heat pipes.
Innovative Memory and AI Caching
While the machine comes equipped with 64GB of fast LPDDR5X-8000 memory, the manufacturer claims it can run demanding models like the GPT-OSS-120B locally. This capability is made possible by Phison’s aiDAPTIV+ technology, which utilizes a segment of the 768GB SSD as an AI cache.
