The studio behind the hit title Lies of P has officially announced a transition. Formerly known as Round8 Studio, the developer has rebranded as Nough. According to the team, the new name—a clever portmanteau of "Not Enough"—reflects their commitment to maintaining the core development philosophy established by their predecessor, operating under the guiding principle of "Games by Gamers."
Ambitions for the Lies of P Sequel
While the team remains quiet on specific details regarding the upcoming, yet-to-be-named sequel, they have been vocal about their overarching creative goals. The developers emphasized that they are working hard to deliver an experience that surpasses the original.
Combat director Lee Jeonghyeon shared the studio's primary objective:
«From the very start, my goal has been to create the world's greatest action game. And we're getting there, one step at a time.»
Overall director Choi Jiwon added that the team is driven by a desire to craft a game that they, as players themselves, would genuinely enjoy. Choi expressed a deep sense of responsibility toward the community, stating, «As a gamer myself, I know they can tell when a game has been made with real dedication. We're giving everything we have to make it the best it can be. So please wait just a little bit longer. We won't let you down. I promise.»

A significant focus of the studio's recent mini-documentary was the unique, community-driven testing methodology they employ. Nough utilizes internal "Game Days," where the entire staff pauses their usual tasks to play the current build of their projects, followed by comprehensive feedback surveys.

It was this specific process that led to key adjustments in Lies of P, including the implementation of difficulty modes and significant narrative refinements during the development of their recent expansion, Overture.
